What is MindNode Next?

MindNode Next is our new app. It is a brand-new version of MindNode built for the new age of spatial computing and collaboration. MindNode Next is built on a new foundation that allows for conflict-free document syncing. Now, with MindNode Next, documents are managed directly in MindNode itself using iCloud and are no longer stored in files on disk or third-party storage locations.

Does MindNode Next enable collaboration?

Yes. Using MindNode Next, you can collaborate with others on your MindNode Next documents or share your documents for others to join as viewers.

What devices can I use MindNode Next on?

MindNode Next is, currently, available on Mac, iPad, iPhone, and Apple Vision Pro. We'll add support for the Apple Watch shortly.

What kind of MindNode Plus plans are available for MindNode Next?

We offer both a monthly ($2.99) and yearly ($24.99) MindNode Plus subscription. They each come with a free trial and unlock MindNode Next as well as MindNode Classic on all supported devices.

What features are available in the free version?

Using the free version, you can create and edit MindNode Next documents. We support basic editing features like creating new nodes, adding titles, reordering nodes, and folding child nodes as well as joining shared documents. The Free Editor also allows the import and export of all supported file formats. On Vision Pro, you can also explore the all-new immersive brainstorming feature (that allows you to position your ideas freely in the room)

Do you offer a free trial?

Yes. MindNode Plus comes with a free trial. You can cancel MindNode Plus at any time during the trial. You will only be charged once the trial ends if you have not canceled.

What happens to my data when I cancel MindNode Plus?

Nothing. Your data will remain safely stored on your device or iCloud.

Do I need MindNode Plus to sync my documents between platforms?

No. Syncing is done using iCloud and is independent of your subscription status. You only need an active iCloud Account.

Do you offer a Volume Purchase Programme (VPP)?

No. Unfortunately, we currently don’t offer a VPP version of MindNode Next for schools or companies. However, we’re looking into our options and plan to add it in the future.

Do you offer educational discounts?

Yes. Please get in touch with our support team via your education email address.

Is MindNode Next available via Setapp?

No. MindNode Next is not included in Setapp at the moment.

Existing MindNode customers

How can I use my existing MindNode Plus subscription?

If you have iCloud enabled (using the same iCloud Account) for MindNode Classic and MindNode Next your MindNode Plus subscription status should sync automatically.

You can also use a MindNode Account to sync your MindNode Plus subscription status. Learn more here.

Can I sync documents between MindNode Classic and MindNode Next?

No. Since MindNode Classic and MindNode Next are built on a very different core foundation, syncing documents between those versions is not possible.

You can, however, import MindNode Classic documents into MindNode Next and vice-versa (with not all features being supported). 

Are all MindNode Classic features coming over to MindNode Next?
