MindNode Fall 2015 Updates

Apple is preparing for a very busy autumn. New updates for iOS, OS X and watchOS will bring many new features that will greatly improve productivity across the board. Later this year, Apple will launch the brand new tvOS platform that will bring apps directly onto the big screen.

All current versions of MindNode (MindNode for iOS, MindNode for Mac, MindNode for Apple Watch and even MindNode Pro) already work great with OS X El Capitan and iOS 9 and we have several updates in the pipeline that will take full advantage of all the new features.

MindNode for iOS

Our upcoming MindNode 4.1 for iOS update will add support for all the new iOS 9 productivity features including Split View, Slide Over, Spotlight and iClouds’ Open In Place. This update will also enhance the iCloud Drive integration by supporting iCloud Drive Versions and adding the ability to move documents to any iCloud Drive folder.

We already submitted MindNode 4.1 to Apple and we plan to release it as soon as it passes through app review.

MindNode for Mac

The release of MindNode for Mac was phenomenal. We received so much great feedback and have been very busy adding improvements and fixes in the last three months. We’re very happy you like our new stickers as much as we do, so with the next update we will add two new free sets focused on activities and organizing. The new update will also add the ability to use AppleScript support to export documents and import & export CVS files.

MindNode 2.1 for Mac is still under development and we plan to send it to Apple at the end of the month.

MindNode for Apple Watch

We are currently in the process of rewriting MindNode as a native watchOS 2 app. This means the app will launch considerable faster and will be a lot more responsive. Unfortunately optimizing MindNode for watchOS 2 is taking a bit longer than expected and we plan to release MindNode 1.1 for Apple Watch at the end of next month.

As you can see we have been pretty busy the last few weeks and I hope you will enjoy all the new features!
